You can't go wrong with any gen LS, but the 98-00 facelifted 2nd gens are beautiful machines. Be aware they're not very fun to drive, but they're super comfy and have decent power.

We used to get some in with high 200's to low 300K miles and still running as smooth as ever. Better than most new cars. An absolute legend.

The first few years of the 1st gen were the most reliable cars ever made.

My dad had one. It had dual radiator fans in case one failed. Later cars had the spot for the 2nd fan but only shipped with one.

Lexus went over and above for the first couple years to beat Mercedes.

I like these old japanese sedans. They look nice and are quick for how big they are but i would rather a 2 door manual Legend or the Vigor

My mom has one. It's pretty awesome. Also, it has a "POWER" setting. I've used it many times and I'm pretty sure it does next to nothing (maybe something with the shift points) but does your car have a "POWER" button?
